Nets Spotlight

The hurting Brooklyn Nets just dropped their fourth-straight game, this time to the Golden State Warriors, although they did manage to cover the 10-point spread. Offensively on the road, the Nets rank 2nd in points per game, 1st in field goal percentage, and 1st in 3-point shooting. Defensively on the road, the Nets rank 15th in points allowed, 1st in field goal percentage, 1st in 3-point shooting, and 11th in rebounding.

Suns Spotlight

The Phoenix Suns just reeled off their 10th straight victory against the San Antonio Spurs, which would be their second double-digit win streak of the season. Offensively at home, the Suns rank 6th in points per game, 2nd in field goal percentage, and 3rd in 3-point shooting. Defensively at home, the Suns rank 8th in points allowed, 5th in field goal percentage, 11th in 3-point shooting, and 14th in rebounding.

Final Say

Brooklyn hasn’t been in the greatest of form, but they just picked up so momentum last game in a competitive matchup with the Warriors. They’ll also have the services of James Harden in this one, where him and Irving will have ball-handling duties. The Nets are 14-5 SU in their last 19 road games, while they are 10-3 SU in their last 13 versus the Suns. They’ve also been a profitable 5-1 ATS in their last six against them. The Suns are on a nice win-streak and 6-3 ATS in their last nine games, but they’ll be pretty short-handed tonight against Irving and Harden, which is why grabbing the free points seem like the smart move in this spot.
