Cavaliers Spotlight

The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to usurp preseason expectations as they almost took a solid Utah Jazz squad down in their last game, while they have covered the spread in seven-straight games. On the road, the Cavalier’s offense ranks 15th in points per game, 5th in field goal percentage, and 8th in 3-point shooting. On the defensive side, they have been one of the best, ranking 2nd in points allowed, 10th in field goal percentage, 7th in 3-point shooting, and 2nd in rebounding.

Bucks Spotlight

The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off an explosive victory over the Miami Heat, while covering the spread as 6.5-point favorites. At home, the Buck’s offense ranks 10th in points per game, 23rd in field goal percentage, and 14th in 3-point shooting. Defensively they’ve been solid, ranking 8th in points allowed, 2nd in field goal percentage, and 19th in rebounding.

Final Say

Cleveland has been one of the most fundamentally sound teams playing right now, going 7-0 ATS in their last seven games, but they face a Milwaukee team that has dominated them. In their last seven meeting, the Bucks are 7-0 and 6-1 ATS, while they have gone 6-0 ATS in their last six at home versus the Cavaliers. The Bucks themselves have been in good form as well, winning nine of their last 10 games, and going 5-2 ATS in their last seven games. The Cavaliers just had three straight road games and play well for those games, then come home and play well against a good Jazz squad, now must hit the road again and face a teams that has dominated them recently. The Bucks are also 5-1 ATS in their last six games as favorites. Not a good spot for the Cavaliers, if Giannis plays, I’ll be all over the Bucks.

Pick: Milwaukee Bucks -6.5 (If Giannis Plays)
