Raiders Spotlight

The Las Vegas Raiders just dropped their second straight game, this time in blowout fashion to the Kansas City Chiefs as 10-point underdogs. On the road, the Raider’s offense ranks 23rd in points per game, 3rd in pass yards, 28th in rush yards, and 6th in yards per play. Defensively on the road, the Raiders rank 8th in points allowed, 24th in pass and rush yards allowed, and 30th in yards per play.

Browns Spotlight

The Cleveland Browns got revenge against the Baltimore Ravens after they took them down in Baltimore two weeks prior. At home, the Brown’s offense ranks 6th in points per game, 17th in pass yards, 6th in rush yards, and 7th in yards per play. Defensively at home, the Browns rank 19th in points allowed, 25th in pass yards allowed, 17th in rush yards allowed, and 25th in yards per play.

Final Say

Cleveland just hasn’t been a profitable team to back this season considering they have had high expectations while being plagued by injuries, which can lead to unfavorable spreads. At home, the Browns have gone 1-4 ATS in their last five games there, while going just 1-5 SU in their last six versus the AFC West. Las Vegas though has been in worse shape, going 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six games, while going 3-6 ATS in their last nine road games. This should be a competitive game, but I’ll always look towards the teams winning the turnover battle in a game of inches. The Browns have not lost the turnover battle in seven of their last 10 games, while the Raiders have not won the turnover battle in seven of their last 10 games. Plus Carr will not have his best offensive weapon in Waller on the field tonight. With the Ravens losing and the Bengals and Steelers winning yesterday, this just became an even more important game for the Browns. Back the home team in this one.
