The New Orleans Saints are coming off an upset loss to the Atlanta Falcons in which they were 6.5-point favorites. On the road, the Saints offense hasn’t been good ranking 25th in points per game, 30th in passing yards per game, 23rd in rushing yards per game, and a putrid 30th in yards per play. They do however play good defense where they rank 4th in points allowed, 12th in passing yards allowed, 6th in rushing yards allowed, and 2nd in yards per play. 

Titans Spotlight

The Tennessee Titans are coming off a big upset, where they went into Los Angeles and beat the Rams as 7-point favorites. At home, the Titans offense ranks 16th in points per game, 27th in passing yards per game, 10th in rushing yards per game, and 17th in yards per play. On the defensive side, the Titans rank 8th in points allowed, 21st in passing yards allowed, 7th in rushing yards allowed, and 11th in yards per play. 

Final Say

Tennessee has been on fire winning five straight up and ATS, but their strong-suit is wearing down where they are averaging just 88 rushing yards per game in their last three games, and of course they’ll be without Derrick Henry. New Orleans will again be with Trevor Semien at the helms, so expect a conservative style of play behind their stellar defense. The under has been trending for the Titans lately, where it has hit in four of their last five games at home, while it has also hit in four of their last five meetings with the Saints. Expect the Titan’s hot offense to cool off here against a good defense, while the Saints should have their growing pains with a new quarterback in place. Back the total to stay under 44 points.
