Raiders Spotlight

The Las Vegas Raiders lost their fourth game, in their last five attempts, this time losing to the Washington Football Team at home as 1.5-point favorites. Offensively on the road, the Raiders rank 16th in points per game, 2nd in pass yards, 25th in rush yards, and 3rd in yards per play. On the defensive side, they rank 15th in points allowed, 23rd in pass yards allowed, 14th in rush yards allowed, and 18th in yards per play.

Chiefs Spotlight

The Kansas City Chiefs just reeled off their fifth-straight victory, this time beating the Denver Broncos, while covering the 9.5-point spread. Offensively at home, the Chiefs rank 12th in points per game, 14th in pass yards, 15th in rush yards, and 23rd in yards per play. Defensively at home, the Chiefs rank 12th in points allowed, 20th in pass yards allowed, 13th in rush yards allowed, and 26th in yards per play.

Final Say

You thought there was hope for the Raiders season after taking down the Dallas Cowboys, and for a portion of the Washington game, but that fell through and now must head back on the road to one of the loudest stadiums in the league, against a hot Chiefs team that has ripped off five-straight wins, while going 3-0 ATS in their last three games. The Raiders on the other hand have gone 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five games, while going 2-4 ATS in their last six versus the Chiefs, and are 1-4 ATS in their last five against an AFC opponent. In their last 10 meetings, the Chiefs own an 8-2 SU record and 6-4 ATS record, winning by an average of 13 points per game. The Chief’s defense has been the stars of the show lately, giving up an average of 9.8 points per game in their last four games, while they own a +6 turnover differential compared to the Raiders -1 differential during that span. I like teams that win the turnover battle and the Chiefs are doing that, while the Raiders are not. Rolling with the Chiefs at home.

Pick: Kansas City Chiefs -9.5
