Defensively at home, the Buccaneers rank 2nd in points allowed, 19th in pass yards allowed, 4th in rush yards allowed, and 6th in yards per play.

Final Say

The over has been trending for both squads where it has hit in four of the Eagle’s last five games, while it has hit in five of the Buccaneer’s last six games played in January. It has also hit in five of their last seven meetings with each other. However, the Buccaneers have been taking the NFC seriously where the under has hit in five of their last six meetings with an NFC opponent. The under has also hit in six of their last seven meetings versus a team with a winning road record. The under has also hit in four-straight Wildcard games for the Eagles. Both teams will be presenting good defenses that don’t give up big plays, while the Buccaneers get to face a quarterback with no playoff experience. Meanwhile, Tom and company should be able to produce long time-consuming drives, which should play into this total staying under the threshold. Not expecting a whole lot of offense from the Eagles in this spot, which is why I’ll back the under in this game.
