The San Antonio Spurs were able to snap a six-game skid last game, taking down the Boston Celtics, while covering the 4.5-point spread in the process. Offensively at home, the Spurs rank 5th in points per game and field goal percentage, and 7th in 3-point shooting. Defensively at home, the Spurs haven’t been good as they rank 28th in points allowed, 27th in field goal percentage, 15th in 3-point shooting, and 26th in rebounding.

Final Say

This will be the Washington’s 8th road game in their last 11 games overall, so the travel scheduling seems to be taxing on them as they are just 2-5 ATS on the road during that span. They are also just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall too. San Antonio hasn’t been in good form either though, going just 1-6 SU and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games. They have however been dominating this series at home against the Wizards, winning 20 straight against them, while going 4-2 ATS in their last six against them. The Wizards just aren’t as competitive on the road, while the Spurs play much better offense at home than on the road. I’m expecting the travel schedule to fatigue the Wizards, while the day off may not benefit them here. Rolling with the home team and the free points.
