Game Spotlight

The Denver Nuggets arrived in Memphis late Saturday night in anticipation of improving their 4-2 record.  They will take on the Memphis Grizzlies tonight, then will stick around to enjoy the music and night life on Beale street until their second contest on Wednesday.

The Nuggets are looking to pick up the 1st of two meetings with the Grizzlies in 3 days. The Grizzlies are 1-1 at home, while Nuggets just improved their road record to 2-1. 

The Grizzlies are coming off a long, 4-game west coast trip where they went a respectable 2-2. After family duties of the holiday, and no shoot around Sunday, look for the Grizzlies to stay in that static state of mind. 

Final Say

Neither team is shooting well beyond the arc - Denver 32% and Memphis 36%, but Memphis also doesn’t have much of an inside presence with veteran Steven Adams defending the paint. Look for Jokic to have his way and continue to cause havoc to the vulnerable inside play of Memphis on both ends of the court.
