Defensively at home, the Kings rank 27thth in points allowed, 22nd in field goal percentage, 21st in 3-point shooting, and 18th in rebounding.

The focus will be on the total for this meeting where the over has been trending for each team. The over is 6-1 in the King’s last seven games, while it has also gone 4-0 in their last four games as underdogs. As for the Nuggets the over is 13-6 in their last 19 games and 5-1 in their last six games following a SU win. The over has hit in four of Sacramento’s last five home games, and 5-0 in their last five meetings with Denver. These squads let loose when they play averaging 234 points per game in their last three meetings and low-and-behold that’s our total for tonight. The problem is all these trends could have the total a little inflated for two teams coming off the all-star break, and Denver actually plays some good defense on the road, which is why I like this total to stay under the threshold tonight.
