The focus will be on the total for this matchup as the under has been trending. The under is 6-1 in their last seven meetings overall, while it is 9-3 in their last 12 matchups in Utah. For the Jazz, the under has hit in five-straight games, while it is 6-0 in their last six games following a SU win. It is also 4-0 in their last four games following a double-digit win. As for the Rockets, the under is 6-1 in their last seven games versus a team with a winning record. In their last three meetings these squads have combined to average 226 points per game as well. With all these trends and the total to still be that high, it is a little fishy. The problem is the Rockets aren’t playing much defense and have been shooting well and draining their 3s. Utah’s offense is rolling as well, and are putting down their 3s too, and may not put forth a valiant effort on the defensive end considering it’s the Rockets. I’ll back the total to eclipse the total threshold.
