Pacers Spotlight
The Indiana Pacers are coming off an easy victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, while covering the 7-point spread. On the road, the Pacers rank 18th in points per game, 7th in field goal percentage, and 21st in 3-point shooting. Defensively on the road, the Pacers rank 17th in points allowed, 16th in field goal percentage, 24th in 3-point shooting, and 3rd in rebounding.
Bulls Spotlight
The Chicago Bulls just picked up a nice home win over New York, right after their successful west-coast road trip. At home, the Bulls rank 12th in points per game, 18th in field goal percentage, and 11th in 3-point shooting. Defensively at home, the Bulls rank 7th in points allowed, 13th in field goal percentage, 18th in 3-point shooting, and 17th in rebounding. They’ll continue to be without Nikola Vucevic who is dealing with Covid.
Final Say
This will be Indiana’s 8th road game in their last 10 games overall, and they haven’t covered on the road in their last three attempts. Chicago has gone 4-1 ATS in their last five games, and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games at home. The problem for the Bulls is the Pacers have had their number lately as they’ve gone 10-2 SU in their last 12 meetings with the Bulls, and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against them. The Pacers have also won five straight in Chicago. The Bulls literally have played their last 13 games against playoff contenders, and may be overlooking the 7-11 Pacers. They also have to hit the road after this matchup so I’m questioning the Bulls focus tonight. I’ll grab the free points and back the team that’s been dominating this series.
Pick: Indiana Pacers +2
