The Memphis Grizzlies got back on the win column after handling the Sacramento Kings at home, and covering the 4-point spread. The Grizzly’s offense ranks 18th in points per game, 29th in field goal percentage, and 21st in 3-point shooting. Defensively on the road, the Grizzlies rank 30th in points allowed, 29th in field goal percentage, 30th in 3-point shooting, and 16th in rebounding. 

Raptors Spotlight

The Toronto Raptors continued their losing ways, this time to the Boston Celtics as 2-point underdogs. At home, the Raptors rank 25th in points per game and 24th in field goal percentage and 3-point shooting. Defensively at home, the Raptors rank 21st in points allowed, 27th in field goal percentage, 28th in 3-point shooting, and 6th in rebounding.

Final Say

The over has been trending for both squads where it has hit in seven of Toronto’s last nine games, and has hit in seven straight for Memphis. Not expecting too much defense from either side considering where they rank against the rest of the league. The Grizzlies are giving up 116 points per game on the road, and the Raptors are giving up 108 points per game at home. In their last three meetings, these squad have combined to average 228 points per game. Neither team is playing defense, which is why I’m expecting this total to creep over the 217 point threshold.
