Tigers Spotlight

The Missouri Tigers are coming off a beating at the hands of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Missouri’s offense has been mediocre where they rank 65th in points per game, 79th in pass yards per game, 51st in rush yards per game, and 68th in yards per play. Defensively, Missouri ranks 106th in points allowed, 37th in pass yards allowed, 124th in rush yards allowed, and 114th in yards per play.

Black Knights Spotlight

The Army Black Knights are coming into this one feeling a little sickened after losing to their rivals not too long ago. Army’s offense ranks 35th in points per game, 128th in pass yards, 2nd in rush yards, and 76th in yards per play. On the defensive side, Army has been good, ranking 30th in points allowed, 29th in pass yards allowed, 12th in rush yards allowed, and 81st in yards per play.

Final Say

Missouri managed to sneak their way into a bowl game, but who knows how motivated they’ll be missing players all over the board. They are also just 3-12 ATS in their last 15 games, and have gone 0-7 ATS in their last seven games in December. Army has played the role of favorites well, going 15-2 SU in their last 17 games as favorites. All Army does is run the football, and as you could see, Missouri has been one of the worst against the run this year, getting gashed and giving up big plays as they rank 114th in yards per play. This is Army’s bowl, so I see more motivation for them to cap off their solid season with a bang.

Pick: Army Black Knights -6.5
