On the defensive end, the Spurs rank 28th in points allowed, 26th in field goal percentage, 13th in 3-point shooting, and 26th in rebounding.

San Antonio has dominated this series lately, winning seven of their last 10 matchups, and winning two of their last three matchups, beating the Knicks by an average of 11 points per game. The Spurs have gone 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall, which means they’ve covered the spread as underdogs in four straight games. They’ve also gone 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Knicks. All signs point to the Spurs here, but the opening line gave it away, making the Knicks 2.5-point favorites. The Knicks have actually been better on the road going 6-4 SU and ATS this season. Meanwhile, the Spurs just took down the Celtics and Wizards, both teams with winning records, then head on the road and get wins in Portland and Golden State, which were probably emotionally tolling wins. I’ll be rolling with the Knicks in this spot.
