Thunder Spotlight

The Oklahoma City Thunder just blew one against the Houston Rockets, dropping two in a row against them, while losing seven straight now. Offensively on the road the Thunder have been one of the worst, ranking 30th in points per game, field goal percentage, and 3-point shooting. Their defense has been better though as they rank 13th in points allowed, 3rd in field goal percentage, 20th in 3-point shooting, and 30th in rebounding. 

Grizzlies Spotlight

The Memphis Grizzlies just pulled off their second straight victory, this time coming against the Toronto Raptors as 3-point underdogs. At home, the Grizzlies rank 4th in points per game, 9th in field goal percentage, and 14th in 3-point shooting. Defensively at home the Grizzlies have been rancid, ranking 30th in points allowed, 27th in field goal percentage, 29th in 3-point shooting, and 7th in rebounding. 

Final Say

Oklahoma City has been one of the more profitable teams to back in November, going 6-2 ATS in their last eight games, while going 6-1 ATS in their last seven games on the road. However, they have now lost seven straight, and have lost two straight ATS. They also haven’t had much success in this series where they’ve gone 1-7 SU and ATS versus the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies will be without their best player in Ja Morant, which makes it fishy that the Grizzlies opened as 9.5-point favorites. The Thunder will also be working on zero days rest, and couldn’t even beat the lowly Houston Rockets in their last two games. Rolling with the home team to keep playing solid basketball without Morant.
