Game Spotlight

The North Carolina Tar Heels are clinging on to an at-large bid hopes by a thread and those hopes were bolstered by a decisive win at NC State over the weekend. They will need to keep winning, and tonight they welcome the Orange to Chapel Hill. 

The Syracuse Orange had been playing better, but losses to two of the top teams in the league, Duke and Notre Dame, have tempered that run and left the Orange feeling blue.

The Tar Heels have not covered a home game the entire month of February and coming off a big road win against the Pack is not likely to change the issues they have dealt with.

Syracuse has proven to have that bounce-back ability this season and that is reflective of the 9-4 ATS record they have amassed following a SU loss. Considering the massive beating Duke laid on them, this certainly fits that situation.

Final Say

Look for a physical battle, the Heels struggle to make outside shots against the Cuse zone, and for this game to be decided very late and Syracuse will make this number with relative ease to kick off a new week of winners. NORTH CAROLINA 73 Syracuse 72.
