Raptors Spotlight
The Toronto Raptors continued their losing streak, this time to the hands of the Boston Celtics just the night before, while failing to cover the small spread. They’ll be sporting an offense that ranks 20th in points per game and 23rd in field goal percentage. Their defense is what’s been keeping them afloat, where on the road they rank 1st in points allowed, 6th in field goal percentage, and 9th in 3-point shooting. The Raptors haven’t had a pleasant time against Philadelphia, going 3-6 ATS in their last 9 against them, and 1-5 ATS in their last six games in Philadelphia.
76ers Spotlight
After pulling off a stellar win streak, the Philadelphia 76ers flipped sides and are on a two-game losing streak. However, with the rate of play they were playing at combined with all their injuries/illnesses, they were bound to come back down to Earth. They’ll sport an offense at home that ranks 16th in points per game, 11th in field goal percentage and 12th in 3-point percentage. On the defensive side at home, the 76ers rank 12th in points allowed, 11th in field goal percentage, and 17th in 3-point shooting. November has been treating the 76ers nicely where they own an 11-3 SU record in their last 14 games.
Final Say
Despite losing their last two games, Philadelphia was competitive in those games, even though they’ve been short-handed. The Raptors haven’t been a great team to back coming off of zero days rest, where they are just 6-11 ATS in their last 17 games. However, like I said, Philadelphia just played some competitive basketball being short-handed, and they will be short-handed in this game as well. They were playing way above average, and now I believe the descent back down is going to be a hard tumble, considering their depleted roster at the moment. Expect the Raptors defense to help them prevail tonight.
Pick: Toronto Raptors +3
