Game Spotlight

The Portland Trailblazers have been absolutely miserable away from home this season... putrid. They finally got a victory in Houston, but even with that, Portland is 1-7 SU and ATS away from home to start the season. Those types of numbers will not lead to success, and moving forward it could create some covering opportunities as they get more points facing better teams.

Home has been a much more cozy fit for the Trailblazers as they come into tonight 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS at home. Would prefer they had a day to rest here as they arrive back home off a tough 4-game trip that included being nut kicked by the Nuggets on Sunday. The fact the game was way out of hand coming into the 4th most likely saved the legs of players that will be asked to give the big minutes of effort tonight.  

Oddly enough, the Toronto Raptors have numbers almost identically reversed to those of the Trailblazers... the Raptors have been road monsters to start the season and have proven almost taxidermy like in efforts at home. Raptors are 1-7 ATS at home but are 5-1 ATS on the road.

Final Say

Can never help that Lillard is out, but to be frank, he was not his typical self early in the season and his terrible shooting from the floor could have been viewed as more of a hindrance. Play here for me is on the Trailblazers, noting both the Raptors success on the road, and the Trailblazer’s game last night... view this chance to win in their familiar surroundings, coming off the beating will have the team focused in this spot.
