Defensively at home, the Steelers rank 11th in points allowed, 10th in pass yards allowed, 31st in rush yards allowed, and 17th in yards per play.
Final Say
Pittsburgh’s defense hasn’t been doing them much favors lately, especially last week when they were embarrassed by the Chiefs, but sometimes embarrassment can be a good thing. It makes you want to try harder next week, in front of your fans on Primetime, while trying to win one for your legendary quarterback who will probably be playing their final game there. Cleveland’s defense shouldn’t have much trouble against one of the worst offenses in the league either, and they did hold them to just 15 points in their last meeting. The under is 4-1 in the Brown’s last five games, and 5-1 in their last six games on grass. The under is also 4-2 in their last six meetings overall. I’m expecting a slow grind-it-out style from both sides, giving these defenses time to recoup and play tough for all four quarters in this rivalry game. Roll with the total to stay under the threshold.
