The Charlotte Hornets are coming off a rough loss to the Washington Wizards in which they blew a fourth quarter lead. Offensively at home, the Hornets rank 2nd in points per game, 5th in field goal percentage, and 1st in 3-point shooting. Defensively at home, the Hornets rank 30th in points allowed, 18th in field goal percentage, 7th in 3-point shooting, and 8th in rebounding.

The Pistons have gone just 1-10 SU in their last 11 games on the road, while they are a putrid 0-10 SU in their last 10 versus the Hornets. Meanwhile, the Hornets have gone 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games at home, but the highest spread they had to cover at home was 8-points, not double-digits. The Pistons could be playing their best basketball right now taking down the Spurs and Bucks, while the Hornets just fell apart in the fourth quarter last game, and they were dominated by the Suns in the game before that. Detroit has gone 5-0 ATS in their last five against the the Southeast division, while going 3-1 ATS in their last four games on the road against Eastern opponents. The Hornets will probably win, but I’m digging the double-digit points.
