Now they continue their road trip to Detroit where they sport a road offense that ranks 18th in points per game, 7th in field goal percentage, 17th in 3-point shooting, and 11th in rebounding. Defensively on the road, the Pacers rank 18th in points per game, 13th in field goal percentage, 25th in 3-point shooting, and 3rd in rebounding.

The Detroit Pistons are coming off another loss, faltering to the Sacramento Kings at home, failing to cover the spread in the process. The Piston’s offense has been putrid at home as they rank 29th in points per game, 30th in field goal percentage, and 30th in 3-point shooting. Defensively at home it hasn’t been too much better as the Pistons rank 19th in points allowed, 29th in field goal percentage, 30th in 3-point shooting, and 23rd in rebounding.
Final Say
Detroit has been miserable team to back, going 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games overall, while they have gone just 1-9 SU in their last 10 games at home. Indiana on the other hand has been profitable lately going 6-2 ATS in their last eight games, but they haven’t had much success against Eastern Conference opponents lately, going just 3-8 SU in their last 11 games against them. The Pistons haven’t done much against their division going 0-6 ATS in their last six tries, but the Pacers haven’t been much better going 2-7 ATS in their last nine games against the Central Division. This will be the Pacers 6th road game in their last seven games overall, and are coming off a competitive outing against the Knicks, so their focus may not be all there tonight. I’ll gladly take the points in this spot.
