Raiders Spotlight

The Las Vegas Raiders continued their fall from grace, losing their 3rd straight game, this time to the Cincinnati Bengals. They’ve also gone 0-3 ATS during that span, and will have to bounce back on a short week in Dallas. On the road, the Raider’s offense ranks 24th in points per game, 4th in pass yards, 28th in rush yards, and 6th in yards per play. Defensively on the road, the Raiders rank 8th in points allowed, 12th in pass yards allowed, 21st in rush yards allowed, and 11th in yards per play.

Cowboys Spotlight

The Dallas Cowboys couldn’t get a win streak going against the Kansas City Chiefs in their last game, while they failed to keep it within the 2.5-point spread. At home, the Cowboy’s offense has been one of the best as they rank 2nd in points per game, 13th in pass yards, 2nd in rush yards, and 3rd in yards per play. On the defensive side at home, the Cowboy’s rank 12th in points allowed, 17th in pass yards allowed, 12th in rush yards allowed, and 18th in yards per play.

Final Say

Dallas has been as profitable as they come in the NFL, going 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games, and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games at home. Las Vegas on the other hand is 2-6 ATS in their last eight games, and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games on the road. They’ve also gone just 1-4 ATS in their last five games against an NFC opponent. It seems like last week the Cowboys didn’t put all of their eggs in their basket in Kansas City knowing the odds weren’t in their favor there, and they had a Thursday matchup with the lowly Raiders. The Raider’s offense has found themselves in a funk, averaging 14 points per game in their last three games, while they own a -4 turnover differential during that span. The wheels are coming undone for the Raiders, while the Cowboys still control their own destiny and are in the thick of things for a first round bye. Lay the points and back the better team at home.

Pick: Dallas Cowboys -7.5
