The New Orleans Pelicans continued their dreadful season dropping their second-straight loss, this time to the Minnesota Timberwolves as 3.5-point underdogs. At home, the Pelican’s offense ranks 24th in points per game and field goal percentage, and 20th in 3-point shooting. Defensively at home, the Pelicans rank 24th in points allowed, 23rd in field goal percentage, 26th in 3-point shooting, and 13th in rebounding. 

Final Say

Washington has dominated this series with New Orleans, going 15-4 SU in their last 19 against the Pelicans, while going 10-3 ATS in their last 13 meetings with them. However, the Wizards haven’t been in the greatest of form, going 1-4 ATS in their last five games. The Pelicans haven’t had much success lately either, going 1-4 ATS in their last five games on the road, and they’ve dropped eight-straight against an Eastern Conference opponent. The Wizards just seem like an easy pick here, but the Pelicans shot just 40% in their last meeting with the Wizards and lost by five points. If Brandon Ingram wasn’t playing then I’d be avoiding this game, but he’s good enough to help keep this game close for the Pelicans. Grabbing the free points and backing the home underdogs.
