Game Spotlight

The N.C. State Wolfpack has been sweet butter at home this season... I actually cashed with them as a BEST BET play in a home win over the Clemson Tigers as a double digit underdogs, and even called the upset.  In a non-conference game against La Tech Bulldogs, they failed to cover, and we snuck a W with the Bulldogs that day... since then the Wolfpack have won and covered their other home ACC contest against the Louisville Cardinals as a 6-point favorite.

While I did cash with Wake Forest last week as the beat the Wolfpack 45-42... N.C. State showed well of themselves in defeat, pushing Wake all the way to the final seconds of the game.  Actually, the more I think of it typing this preview, the more I am liking N.C. State.

Catching the Syracuse Orange slipping a bit coming into Raleigh after being pulverized in a road loss to Louisville. Syracuse has lost a ton of close games... and that ultimately is why I chose not to give this game BEST BET consideration, but the road spot here is not a good one for them.  Tucker is Syracuse’s workhorse and expect N.C. State to focus on him early and force Syracuse to become a passing team.  

Final Say

N.C. State at home in the ACC is a nice play to consider... Wolfpack’s offense continues to perform well here on Saturday, the defense will make enough plays, and N.C. State comes home a 33-17 winner.
